Adding birthdays to Team Today

Last updated

Who can do this: Company admins turn on birthdays. All users can share their own birthday. Plan: All plans.

Add birthdays to Team Today and help improve your office culture

How it works

Company admins can turn on birthdays in company settings as a global setting. Individual team members can then decide whether they wish to share their birthday so others can see. Once shared an icon depicting a birthday cake is added to the relevant day.

Team Today doesn't collect year of birth to ensure that unnecessary data isn't collected.

Where birthdays show

Birthdays show in the Week View when it is set to Grid, the Month View, the Work Planner and the Leave Planner. They don't show in the Day View, or in the Week View when it is set to Calendar.

Turning on birthdays

Company admins can turn the birthdays feature on by:

  1. Go to Settings > Company settings
  2. Open General
  3. Turn on Show birthdays
